Meet Ilene Palmer Green
Principal / Director of Operations / Broker REALTOR®
Ilene Green has been in the property management industry for over 26 years. Prior to jumping into property management, she was in corporate sales, and was looking for a career that offered that precarious combination of work/life balance and professional challenges. After just a few weeks of leasing, she knew this was the career for her.
Her journey began as a leasing consultant, she quickly moved up to assistant manager, and then property manager. Ilene worked for companies such as Bell Partners, Cottonwood Residential and American Landmark. She also worked in student housing as a portfolio manager and most recently, held a position as a new construction lease-up manager for Hawthorne Residential.
Ilene's career-long dream was to start her own management company. It was fueled by a passion for helping others and to provide amazing customer service - something that she has always been committed to. Cape Fear Coastal Property Management is the realization of that dream.
Ilene lives in Carolina Beach and when she is not working, family is her focus. "We love spending time together, whether it be cooking and eating, playing competitive games - Monopoly is a favorite of mine - and playing or relaxing at the beach. I love music and try to enjoy as many live concerts as possible. My husband Sam and I are NC State fans and hold season football tickets. This means during football season, you know where you can find us: tailgating and cheering on the Wolfpack from the stands of Carter-Finley Stadium."
